Ferrisburgh, Panton, Vergennes

We continued our project yesterday.  Although we had originally planned an epic Memorial Day ride in Franklin County, the weather looked iffy and we were a bit tired from our Sunday outing in the two-man relay at Vermont City Marathon.  We opted instead for an easy spin in the Champlain Valley.  We started at Button Bay State Park in Ferrisburgh, toured Panton, got lost in the little city of Vergennes, cycled up to Kingsland Bay State Park in Ferrisburgh and returned to Button Bay for an easy circuit of 32 miles.  Eleven towns down with 240 to go…
