The Race to the Top of Vermont is tomorrow so we decided to keep things low-key today. Somehow in our many Addison County rides, we had managed to miss out on Whiting. And we did not have any pictures from Leicester. So we headed out for a short and flat ride to remedy that situation. We rode a loop course starting in Brandon and circled through Sudbury, Whiting and Leicester. We did a short out-and-back section to Goshen which sort of violated the short-and-flat edict and then we went crashing back down to Brandon.
After the ride, we went to the Sheldon Museum in Middlebury to see the exhibit of 150-year-old bicycles. Awesome boneshakers!
We have now cycled through 186 towns with 65 towns to go. We have completed 6 counties with the other 8 counties still in progress.
